Making immigration paperwork easier, safer, and more accessible
Fillvisa exists because a basic immigration form should not require expensive software, confusing PDFs, hidden paywalls, or blind trust in a closed system.
Why it started
I am Junaid, the maker behind Fillvisa. My own visa form turned into hours of dropdowns, timeouts, broken fields, and a process that felt far harder than it needed to be. That experience became the starting point for a simpler browser-based way to prepare official immigration PDFs.
What we are building
Fillvisa is now a mission-driven form platform. The public tools stay free for immigrants and families, and Fillvisa OS makes the core approach inspectable, forkable, and self-hostable. Professional workflows help fund a bigger roadmap.
What Fillvisa stands for
The commitments behind every public form tool we build.
Privacy first
Immigration forms contain sensitive details. Fillvisa is designed so public-form answers stay on your device, not in our database.
Free access matters
Competitors can charge hundreds of dollars. Fillvisa keeps core form filling free so cost is not the reason someone gives up.
Useful before flashy
The best tool is the one that helps you finish. We focus on clear questions, autosave, and official-format PDF output.
Open source builds trust
Immigration tools should be understandable, not mysterious. Fillvisa OS makes the public form experience inspectable by users, builders, and community reviewers.
Open-source tools for U.S. immigration paperwork
Fillvisa is opening parts of the project so people can inspect how supported forms work, download the software, fork it, and self-host their own copy.
The open-source edition is for common public forms, transparency, community review, and builders who want to adapt the frontend for their own use. Fillvisa.com remains the hosted free version, and Fillvisa Plus adds cloud workspaces, collaborators, and broader professional workflows.

Employment pathways
Expand support for professional and employment-based workflows, including EB-1, EB-2, EB-3, EB-4, and EB-5 categories.
Professional tools
Use Fillvisa Plus to help firms collaborate, import PDFs, and build more reliable client workflows.
